Before children ever touch a keyboard, they can still master the logic of coding. The Discovery Level is designed for our youngest learners to experience coding concepts through designed activities. By stepping away from the screen, students use physical movement, ordered sounds, and tactile building blocks to understand how technology works under our command.
This level focuses on Unplugged Coding, where we translate complex concepts such as sequences and loops into fun, hands-on activities with robots. It’s about building a solid foundation of logical thinking while keeping the experience entirely hands-on, creative, and age-appropriate.
For the Discovery Level (Ages 3-4), we have arranged early education to focus on tangible exploration and sensory-based activities. This stage is dedicated to showing our youngest innovators that they can command technology through physical interaction before ever touching a screen. By engaging with a diverse range of friendly robots, such as the Robot Mouse, Codey Rocky, Matatalab, and Edison, children transform abstract ideas into a physical reality they can touch and see.
Through guided activities, students bridge the gap between imagination and logic by turning commands into meaningful movement with physical motors and sounds. By stepping away from the screen, we ensure that every lesson remains entirely age-appropriate, helping children build the confidence to solve puzzles and experiment in a vibrant, unplugged environment. This approach nurtures a child’s natural curiosity while building a strong, confident, hands-on foundation for all their future technical learning.
